Australian starlet Elizabeth Debicki will play Diana, Princess of Wales, in the final two seasons of the hit Netflix series The Crown, it has been announced.The Night Manager star will take over from the fourth seasons Emma Corrin.Debicki joins Jonathan Pryce and Imelda Staunton for the final 2 seasons of the royal drama, which is anticipated to cover the 1990s and early 2000s. The 4th season is expected to be launched this autumn.The Crown needs extra season to cover 1990s

The last two series might also go on to cover the deaths of Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother, 7 weeks apart in 2002, and the Queens Golden Jubilee that summer.Earlier this week, the show revealed that Oscar-nominated actor Jonathan Pryce would follow in the footsteps of Matt Smith and Tobias Menzies to play Prince Philip in series four and five.Imelda Staunton, on the other hand, takes over from Olivia Colman as the emperor, while Lesley Manville will play Princess Margaret.
