Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams suggested on Thursday that previous Jets security Jamal Adams may grow bored in Seattle, describing that the Seahawks “do not utilize their safety-type things and all the various complexities of maybe not showing what theyre doing as much as we do.”
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, appearing on KJR in Seattle with Dave “Softy” Mahler, reacted by stating of Williams: “We do not make as lots of mistakes as he does.”
Individually asked to discuss what Adams gives the Seahawks as a pass rusher, Carroll stated, “Hes not bringing Gregg Williams with him, thats for sure.”
The full interview can be heard here. And the Seahawks and Jets can be seen on the same field in December.
